Abstract | Preisach models driven by stochastic inputs are employed to model magnetic aftereffect in the presence of demagnetizing fields. As a result of thermal relaxation, the magnetization and, consequently, the demagnetizing field vary in time. The new model generalizes earlier work and self-consistently accounts for the effect of time varying demagnetizing fields on the relaxation process. Three practical numerical techniques are proposed to compute the time variation in the magnetic field and the state of the Preisach plane |
