Abstract | Of the current approaches, most are based on analysis of silhouettes. This is like the earlier analysis which concerned abstracting a walking subject from the background and then deriving set of measurements that describe the shape and motion of that silhouette in a sequence of images. This is similar in approach the classic computer vision approach to recognize objects by using shape descriptions of objects derived, say, by optimal thresholding. |
